Ensuring Safety with VIVA’s Fire-Retardant ACP Sheets
Fire accidents can lead to devastating consequences—serious injuries, destruction of property, and even loss of life. In most cases, fatalities are not caused directly by flames but by smoke inhalation of toxic gases released during a fire. This smoke often contains high levels of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other harmful irritants that can severely damage the respiratory system.
Recognizing these dangers, VIVA became the first ACP manufacturer in India to introduce the FR Grade A2+ Aluminium Corrugated Composite Panel. Engineered with a honeycomb aluminium core, these panels are designed to prevent the spread of fire and reduce its intensity. The air pockets within the honeycomb structure act as a vacuum barrier, stopping flames from advancing further. This innovative design provides occupants with critical evacuation time while producing negligible smoke and zero flaming droplets.
VIVA’s fire-retardant ACP sheets are developed to enhance safety by ensuring:
-
No release of toxic gases or harmful chemicals
-
Minimal smoke emission for easier evacuation
-
Low heat release, helping maintain safer indoor temperatures during a fire
Tested and certified by Thomas Bell-Wright International Consultants, VIVA’s FR ACP sheets set a new benchmark in fire safety and building protection. By reducing risks and safeguarding lives, they offer peace of mind without compromising on design and performance.
