Know Your ACP

ACP Handling

We follow strict ISO guidelines to ensure the safe handling of every ACP panel. Our team is professionally trained and equipped with protective gear such as gloves and safety glasses to prevent scratches, folds, or dents during handling.

Each panel is securely packed in solid wooden crates for maximum protection against external damage during transit. In addition, our facilities are equipped with high-capacity forklifts that comply with ISO safety practices, ensuring safe loading and unloading of crates from containers or trucks.

With these measures, we guarantee that every ACP sheet reaches you in perfect condition, meeting global quality and safety standards.

ACP panels should always be stored in a well-ventilated environment at ambient room temperature, away from direct sunlight, moisture, water, or harmful chemicals that could affect their quality. To maintain durability and performance, we strictly follow the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principle, ensuring older stock is used before new supplies.

We recommend covering Aluminium Composite Sheets with protective polythene to safeguard them from harsh environmental conditions, moisture, water, and other contaminants.

To prevent any physical damage, ACP sheets should only be stacked on pallets of the same size. For safe storage, we recommend stacking no more than five pallets at a time, as exceeding this limit may cause surface impressions and increase the risk of pallet slippage.

The floor area designated for storing ACP sheets should be properly covered with a wooden skid or a polythene sheet. This prevents direct contact with the ground, protecting the panels from dust, moisture, and potential surface damage while ensuring long-term durability.

If any contamination is found, the ACP sheets should be thoroughly dried using hot air or wiped clean with a dry cloth before being stored.

Inventory Management

We understand that maintaining a perfect balance between demand and supply is vital for smooth project execution. Our carefully planned inventory system helps in better forecasting, stock planning, and timely order fulfillment.

To ensure color consistency, panels of the same color from different production batches are never mixed in the warehouse. Stockists and distributors receive panels in small quantities from the same batch as their existing stock, guaranteeing uniformity across every project.

ACP Sizes & Thickness

Exploring the 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm Varieties

When it comes to ACP sheet thickness and size, the installation height plays a key role in the selection process. Wind pressure and environmental conditions at different altitudes heavily influence which thickness or size is suitable for your project.

But that’s not all! Choosing the correct ACP thickness is critical for long-lasting performance. Installing a thinner panel where a thicker one is needed can reduce durability, while selecting the right thickness ensures longevity and structural integrity.

Before we dive into the selection tips, let’s first understand the dimensions and thickness options available for Aluminium Composite Panels.

Dimensions of Aluminium Composite Panels
Standard Size 2440mm x 1220mm, 3050mm x 1220mm, 3660mm x 1220mm
Panel Thickness 3mm, 4mm & 6mm
Skin Thickness 0.25mm & 0.50mm

Why ACP Sheets Are Available In Various Thicknesses And Sizes?

Aluminium Composite Panels are available in a variety of thicknesses to suit different applications: 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, and more. The installation height and wind velocity play a major role in selecting the appropriate thickness. Taller buildings such as offices and skyscrapers typically require thicker panels (4–6mm), while 3mm panels are ideal for signage, partitions, and interior applications.

3mm ACP Sheet
This panel consists of a 2.5mm core sandwiched between 0.21–0.25mm top and bottom aluminium alloy layers, coated with two or three layers of PVDF paint and a protective film. It is best suited for lighter installations such as signage and interior cladding.

4mm ACP Sheet
The 4mm panel comes in two variations:

  • 3.0mm core with 0.5mm aluminium alloy layers on top and bottom.

  • 3.5mm LDPE core with 0.25mm aluminium alloy layers.
The difference in core thickness determines its use for interior or exterior facades.

6mm ACP Sheet
The 6mm panel features aluminium alloy layers of 0.25mm, 0.30mm, or 0.50mm with a core thickness of 5–5.5mm. Its robust structure allows it to withstand high winds and resist damage, making it ideal for high-rise buildings and demanding exterior applications.

Choosing the Right ACP Thickness for Your Project

Selection of the Area

For interior applications, 3mm ACP panels are ideal due to their lightweight and easy handling. For exterior use, panels must be sturdy enough to withstand changing weather and climatic conditions, making 4mm and 6mm ACP sheets the preferred choice.

Selection of the Area

ACP sheets are extremely versatile, suitable for signages, 3D screens, event stalls, trolleys, drawers, and even metro coaches. Thinner 3mm panels are perfect for trolleys and drawers, while 6mm panels offer the strength and durability needed for exterior facades and high-rise buildings.

We provide a wide range of superior-quality ACP panels in 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm thicknesses. Our collection also features the largest variety of shades in the country, including Corton Steel, Galaxy, Dessert, Natural Stone, Premium Marble, Classic Sparkle, Mirror, Premium Wood, and more. Custom shades and textures are also available to meet your project’s unique requirements.
